Here's how the Happy Holidays Google doodle is celebrating gender equality other than a very Merry Christmas!

Santas and their reindeer snooze off and have themselves a merry little Christmas in the Google Doodle of the day. The doodle wishing Happy Holidays to netizens across the world also celebrates gender equality.

It's the most beautiful time of the year, indeed it is and Google has chosen to wish its users across the world a very Merry Christmas with a cute doodle. In order to wish the netizens this Holiday season, Google has come up with an animated doodle that shows two little Santas snoozing off in their rocking chairs with a gifts resting in their lap and stacked around the beautifully decorated X-mas tree.

The reindeer can also be seen slumbering in the sleigh in an adorable fashion and the doodle is sure to spread Christmas cheer around with the beautifully creative piece of art. Like the Christmas tree, the colourful doodle is also decorated with stockings and cherries. On hovering the cursor over the doodle, Google wishes people 'Happy Holidays!'

If one carefully looks at the doodle, it also celebrates gender equality as a female Santa can also be seen alongside Santa Claus. This could be a reminder to those kids being raised by their single mothers, separated, divorced or widowed, that a woman can also be a Santa. The reason why it is called the Holiday season is because the festivities in the United States of America, United Kingdom and other countries where Christianity is the dominant religion start from Christmas' Eve and extend until the New Year's Day.
