A Canadian government proposal to make free menstrual products available in federally regulated workplaces is garnering broad support across parties. At the heart of the plan is “a question of gender equality,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told reporters.
"There is a shift in the thin ideal female figure to one that now includes the appearance of physical fitness via muscularity," commented Bozsik, who added that the results further suggest that muscularity and thinness are becoming more common among high-profile female celebrities.

"It's certainly not a rule that has any force in international maritime law," he said in an interview. "At its best, it's a custom. But more realistically I think it's an ideal that's espoused more often that it is observed."
