No one can deny that there are physical and biological differences between the sexes. And there’s nothing inherently ‘wrong’ in possessing these traits. But when our culture teaches our girls and boys what is expected of them given their ascribed gender we start to encounter problems. Do we really want our kids to default to the ‘gender duty’ and override their own individual preferences, desires, innate abilities and traits?
