A new pop-up shop at MoMa - “Design Innovations for Women” - features 21 products created by female entrepreneurs and inventors that offer elegant, sympathetic solutions for various stages and circumstances in many women’s lives including a board game about menstrual cycles, an ingenious wearable breast pump, jewel-like vibrators, a FIFA-approved hijab and a groundbreaking bike saddle designed for women’s comfort.
Women in the workplace face myriad small daily considerations—what to wear, how high to sit, when to speak up. They (along with men who don’t conform to industry stereotype) do so in order to eliminate potential distractions from an otherwise successful meeting. Only now, a lot fewer of those considerations are necessary.
